Beginning January 14, Cleveland Park Drive, between Lakehurst Street and Ridgeland Drive, will be closed for approximately 60 days to facilitate pipe installation for the DIG Greenville project. The City is working closely with ReWa to minimize the overall impact of the construction work and maintain a safe environment along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. As a result, during that time, the trail will be detoured around the construction site.
The road closure and Swamp Rabbit Trail detour are shown on the attached map. Although a portion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail near the Veteran’s Memorial will be closed during construction, access to the trail from the Greenville Zoo parking area will be maintained along an alternate route leading to the trail intersection with Woodland Way.
Cleveland Park Drive and the Swamp Rabbit Trail will reopen as soon as possible once construction activities are complete.
