Open Studios Nov 7-8

Greenville Open Studios is a weekend event which opens the studios of local visual artists to the public. The event is held annually on the first weekend in November, and showcases artists at work in their studios. This year the event is this weekend, Nov 7 and 8. The 2015 self-guided tour will feature 133 artists and their studios. Studio locations vary throughout a 15-mile radius of downtown Greenville with Easley, Greer, Travelers Rest and Dacusville included. Open Studios catalogues can be found at all the studios as well as at the Metropolitan Arts Commission. An exciting feature of Greenville Open Studios continues to be a web application. Through your cell phone or through www.greenvilleopenstudios.com, you can access information on the participating artists by name, medium, location and artist statement.  This unique feature also allows you to create a list of artist studios you would like to visit and plan your travel route with a mapping feature that is integrated with Google Maps and GPS devices.  Also featured are hyperlinks for users to visit sponsor websites.
