Humane Society in Need of Newpaper

NewspapersThe Greenville Humane Society desperately needs newspapers.  They use them to line the kitten and puppy cages.  Instead of recycling your papers on the street, consider recycling them for use by the Humane Society.  If you want to go the extra step, please take out all slick paper circulars and ads as these cannot be used and it saves us time.  You can still recycle those with the city.  You can bring them inside during open hours (M–F: Noon–6:30PM, SAT: 11:00AM–5:00PM, SUN: Noon–5:00PM) or drop them in the large garbage can in front of the building at 305 Airport Rd.  PawsIf you haven’t been there before, take the opportunity to see their new facility and maybe find a new best friend.  It’s kitten season and they are adorable.  Plus, check out their sale prices.  Kittens are only $75 and adult cats $25.  What a bargain!!  Meet Paws, pictured to the left, a two month old kitten looking for a forever home.

Shop and Help the Animals.  Also, tomorrow, May 21, Whole Foods on Woodruff Road will be donating 5% of all purchases made that day to the Greenville Humane Society to benefit the animals.
