Neighborhood Meeting on the Future of the Bobby Pearse Community Center

The City of Greenville will host three community engagement sessions to discuss the status of the Bobby Pearse Community Center and give Parks & Recreation program participants, neighborhood residents and the public an opportunity to provide feedback regarding the future of the center. Individuals who are unable to attend any of the sessions can submit written feedback to bcuttino@greenvillesc.gov by Friday, September 14.

Some of the options being considered are razing the center and expanding park space, repairing and upgrading the center, or building a new center.  If you have an opinion about the future of our community center, PLEASE attend one of the meetings or submit your written comments!

The first session is next Tuesday, August 14, at 6 pm, at the Sears Recreation Shelter (McPherson Park).  The remaining sessions are Tuesday, August 28, and Tuesday, September 11, both at 6 PM at the Sears Shelter.
