The Greenville Election Committee Needs Your Help.
“We will need more than 1600 election workers for this General Election. At present we have a little more than 700 officially committed. We are asking for your help to recruit more of the best and brightest in our community to help us have the best election possible. Remember, this will be a General Election and we fully expect 70 to 80% of our 335,000 registered voters to come out and vote.
We are asking that you ask your family, your friends, your mentor, your neighbors, your Sunday school teacher and classmates, your pastor, your children (must be 16-years or older on Nov 3), your children/grandchildren’s coach, your children/grandchildren’s teacher, your mail carrier, your salon stylist/barber, your dentist, your doctor, your lawyer, and anyone else that you possibly can that would be willing to serve as an election worker on November 3rd. Are you a member of a country club, Parent Teacher Association, sports league, or nonprofit organization? Please ask your fellow members to help. Do you currently work? Please ask your co-workers if they would be willing to become an election worker.
If you need paper copies of the forms, just come by the office at County Square, 301 University Ridge, Suite 1900, and we can provide them at the counter. Instead of using the paper forms, we also accept applications through the SC State Election Commission application that is available here: https://noexcusesc.com/apply-to-be-a-poll-manager/
As a reminder, we will be observing all CDC COVID-19 recommendations in all polling locations. We will also be providing COVID-19 training and personal protective equipment such as face shields, masks, gloves, and sneeze guards.
Thank you so much for your help in making the November 3rd General Election a huge success!!”
