Residents have asked about the timeline for the next round of sidewalks going out and when is estimated construction? Amy Doyle tracked down the following information:
According to the City, “NSTEP Round 12 is going to have two separate bids. The first is going to bid the first part of November. It will include Cleveland Street (from McDaniel Avenue to Southland Avenue), Overbrook Street (from East North Street to Spruce Street), and West Mountainview Avenue (from North Main Street to Townes Street Ext). I’m not sure of the order the street sections will get built, but construction would start sometime early 2019.
The second part is going to be Chick Springs Road (from Lakecrest Drive to Lotus Court). We are finalizing these plans and I anticipate bid by early to mid-January 2019. Construction would start in early to mid-spring 2019.”
As soon as the designs are ready, probably close before the bids go out, they will be available for us to send out.
