We just received information that police have just responded to a theft on Summit Drive. We’re not sure about the exact block or location. According to one of our members, a white Ford Focus with a Tennessee tag pulled into a neighbor’s yard and stole a gas-powered leaf blower. A neighbor yelled out to them but the car just left. The resident was not at home. Police are there now. We ask everyone to be on the alert and to phone police if a car matching that description is seen. Call 864-271-5333 if it is a non-emergency situation, but if a crime is being committed, call 911. This is a reminder that as we approach the holiday season, more of us will be out of town. Take precautions and please keep items out of sight.
