The Greenville Spinners Bicycle Club is inviting you to participate in Greenville’s first ever Cash MOB for bicycle friendly businesses.
This event is Saturday, July 20th at 4PM at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe which is located on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the address is 205 Cedar Lane Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
What is a Cash MOB?
The general idea is to encourage people to go into small, local businesses and spend their money, en masse, to give the business owner a little bit of economic stimulus and to strengthen our community. We’d help businesses grow, we’d make people happy, we’d get stuff for ourselves, have a great time, and celebrate afterward.
Why are we doing this?
- To show support for the businesses that support bicycling
- To communicate to our businesses and leaders how important it is to support cycling in Greenville and the Upstate.
- To have a grand time with friendly people
- To build a positive community for health, recreation and mobility.
You Do Not have to ride a bike to be there. Get there any way you wish. You do not have to spend lots of money, just something.
This will not be the only Bike Friendly Cash MOB. Others will follow throughout the year and we hope for years to come. So, if you know of a bike friendly business we should support send me a note at membership@greenvillespinners.org and we’ll put it on the list.
