The Humane Society of the United States invites our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to join our South Carolina state director to discuss current local issues and learn what you can do for animals in the Greenville/Spartanburg communities.
You’ll hear a brief overview of who we are and the work we do for animals, as well as our upcoming goals in your community and statewide. Then, you’ll get basic tips on becoming an effective advocate for animals by reaching out to your representatives. If you’re concerned with puppy mills, bear baiting, animal fighting, or generally creating a more compassionate South Carolina, please attend this free meeting.
This is part of an on-going series of grassroots events to be held throughout the state. Please join us as we continue our Lobby 101’s, and take advantage of this great opportunity to meet other animal advocates as we work to create a better South Carolina for our non-human friends. RSVP today to lend your voice for animals in Greenville and Spartanburg counties and beyond.”
