We want to inform the neighborhood of an important local event supporting Childhood Cancer Research led by children. Our neighborhood has been great about coming out to support in the years past and we hope everyone will come out in support this year!
It’s an “Alex’s Lemonade Stand” (stands done nationwide). Morgan McClain, the daughter of one of our members who is a rising 4th grader at Stone Academy will be participating. It will be her 5th year to hold a stand! Her “Alex’s Lemonade Stand” is Saturday, August 10th, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at David Roop’s He & Me Hair Salon (also a NMCA member), 314 W. Stone Avenue.
If someone cannot attend but would like to support the cause, s/he can donate any amount online at alexslemonade.org/mypage/114596 or text a $10 amount by texting LEMONADE E114596 (make sure there’s a space between the E’s!) to 85944.
