Every 2 seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. In our area, blood donations are running low. September has been a busy month for all of us, but it has meant lower than normal donations. All blood types are needed. There are a number of places to donate. One is the Blood Connection’s new Center at 435 Woodruff Rd….just off of Laurens Rd. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 am – 7 pm. For more information go to The Blood Connection website or call 864-751-3029. If you donate between now and this Thursday, September 30, you’ll receive your choice of a Clemson or USC t-shirt.
Northgate Baptist on Summit Drive is also having a blood drive.from 4:30 until 9:00, Monday, Oct. 4 in the Fellowship Hall which is in the back of the church. If anyone is interested please email lindasmith35@bellsouth.net and she will give you the information needed to sign up.
