On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, a large tree fell on the Bobby Pearse Community Center. The damage was significant and the facility is uninhabitable. We have received reports the renovation may take months. We are thankful that no one was in the facility at the time of the incident.
At this time, we are diligently trying to transition the Bobby Pearse Community Center program and activities to the Sears Recreation Center/McPherson Park. The Super Summer Camp will begin at Sears Recreation Center on June 18, 2018. The Summer Camp will be at the location until further notice.
Sears Recreation Center is located at McPherson Park, corner of N. Main Street and E. Park Avenue. Address: 100 E Park Avenue, Greenville, SC 29601. The facility will provide a safe, fun and exciting environment for our campers. The facility is large and has many Park activities for participants.

Times: 7:30am early arrival – 6:00pm late stay. The drop off / pick up point will be located at the front door (E. Park Avenue)
