The city Planning & Neighborhoods committee met this morning to get updated on upcoming neighborhood sidewalk projects. The City Engineering department is evaluating Chick Springs Road for sidewalks from Wade Hampton to Lakecrest Drive. The engineering Dept will begin with some preliminary engineering and cost estimates to evaluate the feasibility. The east side of street is the current proposed route. (Not the Richland Creek side.)
Current neighborhood sidewalks under construction are on Broughton Dr, Maydell, Brookside Circle and Nicholtown Ave. Larger sidewalk projects include Woodruff Road, Haywood and Verdae Blvd.
