The City’s Planning and Development Division will host an open house tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the Hughes Main Library to present an update to Plan-It Greenville, the City’s long-range comprehensive plan for future growth. Adopted in 2009, the plan must be reviewed and updated every five years. The 2014 update involves new community-wide information, including data from the 2010 Census, a status report for the implementation strategies of the plan and revisions to the Future Land Use Map. Following a presentation by City staff, attendees will have an opportunity to view the information, ask questions and provide input.
