Please don’t let election day sneak up on you. It’s next Tuesday, November 5. Polls are open 7am till 7pm. Make sure you have identification with you This link gives you a list of accepted IDs. Once again there are some changes to voting locations, so be sure you know where you are voting !
Greenville Precinct 01 – Stone Lake Community Club, Chick Springs Rd
Greenville Precincts 03 and 04 – Brutontown Community Center, 200 Leo Lewis Drive. There is parking in the back.
Greenville Precinct 05 – Sears Shelter, 100 E. Park Ave.
Not sure you’ll be in town on November 5? Absentee ballot voting is open at County Square right now at 301 University Ridge. Those over 65 can vote absentee for any reason. If you will be out of town, have employment obligations or for some other reason will not be able to make it to the polls, PLEASE vote absentee. It’s quick and easy and you can do it while you’re out running errands. You can vote absentee up until 5pm on Monday, November 4.
However and whenever you do it….PLEASE GET TO THE POLLS AND VOTE!! If you have older neighbors or someone else who may not have a way to get there, offer them a ride. Every vote counts!
