Piazza Bergamo’s new design plans will be unveiled at a public meeting this Wednesday, February 1, 5:30 pm, at the Hughes Main Library. Over the past several months, Civitas, the Denver-based urban design, planning and architecture firm hired by the City, has been working to develop a new design for Piazza Bergamo that will complement the private investment taking place around it and create a new destination for downtown. The site is at the corner of Main Street and Coffee. At this public meeting, the City and Civitas will unveil the new design plan, which was based on input received from stakeholders last fall.
