The City’s development code project team is hosting open houses for the five small area study areas: North Laurens Road, McAlister Square, Augusta-Mauldin-Pleasantburg, Greater Sullivan and Stone + Main. Representatives from each area have been working with the consultants who are writing the City’s new development code to identify opportunities and issues that the code may be able to address.
At each open house, the consultants will share zoning information specific to the areas and present their findings to date. Attendees will have an opportunity to provide input and help guide the project team’s efforts. There will not be a formal presentation at the open houses, so the public is invited to stop by anytime.
We have listed all but the Stone and Main meeting may be of most interest to North Main residents.
