It’s not too late to join in and help clean up the North Main neighborhood as part of the Palmetto Pride Great American Cleanup! The NMCA scheduled clean-up date is Saturday, May 12 from 9 – 11am. We’ll meet at the North Main Rotary Park….the east end by the ball field. We’ll provide gloves, safety vests and bags….and T-shirts while they last.
BUT…if you can’t make it that day, you can still help!! We want to show that we care about our neighborhood by having as many volunteers as possible participate! Just send an email to pgilreath@aol.com and let us know if you can help. Then one day this next week when you’re out on your usual morning or evening walk…just pick up recyclables and litter. If your street is already clean, feel free to pick up litter somewhere that needs it! Just let us know how much area (how many blocks) you covered. And email us a picture of you and your bags if you can! How much simpler can it be?
