Hi, this is Marti Gathings, I am a student at Greenville Senior High School I live on Garraux st., and I designed an app for a contest called the world seeks innovation for my entrepreneurship class. We made it to top three in the contest nationwide. The app (SafeHaven) pairs those who are being domestically abuse with someone who has formerly been abused so that they can mentor them, and coach them out of many situations, as well as provide physical and emotional support. Everything done within the app would be anonymous. Because we are now in the top 3 of the contest we need the most votes to make this really happen. (Don’t worry they wont send you any email its just to make sure there are no automated votes) Any one can vote! Once a day per email address until February 1st. I would love it if you could share this with our fellow neighbors, post this on your Facebook page, some form of social media, etc. to encourage many to vote. We can’t wait to succeed and end domestic violence all together! Also we are supported by SafeHarbor in Greenville, local news and a few other organizations. We need your help to succeed!
