FEEDBACK WANTED!
Wade Hampton Boulevard plan underway!
Wade Hampton Boulevard has the most scenic entrances into downtown Greenville! In 2014 the city planted over 250 trees and replaced all the street lights in an effort to stimulate redevelopment on Wade Hampton Boulevard. The city’s investment in NorthPointe is $2.8 million for public improvements. This includes road improvements, pedestrian amenities, sidewalks and lighting to encourage accessible neighborhood friendly businesses. The two anchors on the boulevard are Bob Jones University and North Pointe (Harris Teeter development now under construction). There are eight neighborhoods that connect to this “super highway”. The city’s economic development team had hired a design team to look at public improvements.
Please take several minutes to answer this survey and give the design team your feedback! Survey closes July 12! The plan will be presented at a public meeting later this summer! Thank you!!
