As many of you know, there had been a church interested in building a sanctuary and campus at the site of the old Travel Inn. This deal has just ended. The contract with the church and the property owner (Pinnacle Bank) has been terminated. The property owner will be marketing the property again to seek a buyer. The City believes it is a good space for commercial or mixed use development — residential and commercial. I will keep you updated if I hear anything. (Email from Amy Ryberg-Doyle, 4/21/11)
