Reminder: The City Council Workshop on revisions to the Infill Ordinance for development will be held Monday (Nov 4) afternoon at 4pm at City Hall. They have moved it to the council chambers on the 10th floor to accommodate more people. Reportedly, they are still in the process of information gathering and are seeking input from architects, homebuilders and neighbors from all over the city. NMCA formed a task force and has sent our recommendations to the mayor, city council and planning staff. After problems we’ve seen with several recent developments in North Main, this should be a subject everyone has an interest in! It is important for as many people as possible to attend this meeting to show our interest and to listen and keep up to date with what council’s thoughts are on this issue.
