The City of Greenville and United Housing Connections, the lead agency for the Upstate Continuum of Care, will host two community meetings on Tuesday, May 18 at the Kroc Center (424 Westfield Street).
These important, interactive meetings will focus on understanding and identifying solutions for homelessness, specifically in the downtown area. There will be two identical sessions – one at 9 a.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. – and the same information will be shared at each session. Space is limited to 100 attendees per session and participants are asked to pre-register at https://cityofgreenvillesc.formstack.com/…/community…
At the sessions, representatives from United Housing Connections and the Salvation Army will share data and information on homelessness in the city of Greenville and provide an overview of their outreach and service plans for helping those in need.
There will also be a panel discussion with representatives from Miracle Hill, the Salvation Army, the Greater Greenville Mental Health Center and Greenville City Council. Attendees can submit questions for the panel in advance when they pre-register or ask questions at the session.
