The City of Greenville will host a drop-in style public meeting for GVL2040, the City’s comprehensive planning process, on Wednesday, August 7, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Springfield Baptist Church Fellowship Hall (600 E McBee Ave). The meeting is informal and community members are invited to stop by any time during the open house to meet the consultant team from czb and Ingalls Planning & Design and members of the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, learn more about the comprehensive planning process and share their vision for the city’s future. There will not be a formal presentation.
Public input and participation are critical to the success of the comprehensive plan and the open house is one of many community engagement opportunities that will be available over the 20-month planning process. Citizens are encouraged to visit www.gvl2040.com and register to receive updates and information.
