The project team from czb and Ingalls Planning & Design (IPD) held its first meeting with the City’s Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee on June 11. The team’s goals for the first meeting included getting to know the steering committee members, discussing preliminary findings from early data analysis and working with committee members to prepare for upcoming “kitchen table conversations” that will take place in the community this summer. czb and IPD will return to Greenville to meet with the steering committee on August 6 and to help facilitate the first public open house about the comprehensive plan on August 7 (details TBA).
In the meantime, the public is encouraged to participate in a new online survey designed to identify community issues and priorities and how Greenville residents and stakeholders perceive and respond to specific trends. The results of the survey will help czb and the steering committee draft a set of community values and create a list of the community’s highest priorities for the comprehensive planning process.
The survey is available at https://publicinput.com/GVL2040-Survey1 and the deadline to participate is Monday, July 29.
In addition to participating in the survey, Greenville residents and stakeholders are encouraged to visit the official GVL2040 website and register to receive emails about upcoming GVL2040 meetings and announcements.
