The second phase of maintenance on the Liberty Bridge is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 4. This stage will focus on the bridge deck and surrounding areas, which will require removing the bridge’s safety rails and replace the grommets where the suspension cables pass through. As a result, the bridge will be closed to the public during this stage, which is expected to last until August 21.
