One of our residents reports that a young woman with no ID is knocking on doors in the North Main area. We do not know the exact area. She has a large backpack. She talks fast and said you can find her on FB, Jenna “the bookgirl” Dodge. It says she is an independent contractor with Southwestern Advantage. She looked it up, as did I, and found the facebook pages, but it seemed fishy to her, and she just wanted to let residents know.
Remember, any door-to-door sales people should have a name or identification badge and must have a license from the city to do this. If they cannot present these, be wary. Plus, most of us do not like door-to-door sales any more than we like receiving solicitation calls at dinner time.
