This large male Shepherd was picked up today by animal control on Wedgewood Drive and he was not wearing a collar. All animals are taken to the Greenville County Animal Care and Services facility located at 328 Furman Hall Road (telephone …467-3950). Stray animals are only held 5 days, consequently, if you go there to look for the animal after the 5 day hold period, it may not still be there. If you do see your pet listed on the Police Dept Facebook page, make sure to take proof of current rabies vaccination when you go to reclaim your pet. Also, there may be a fee charged to reclaim your pet.
Please try and find his owner or consider adopting. His days are numbered. Very sad.
