Sept 27– Free Shredding and Electronics Recycling. TD Convention Center in the Crosrol Parking Lot. 10am – 1pm. Bi-annual shredding and electronics recycling event. Businesses and individuals are welcome. All paper must be bagged or boxed and each person is limited to three trash bags or three small boxes of paper. Accepted electronics: computer monitors, keyboards, mice, CPUs, etc. (all things that plug into a computer), televisions. Note: There is a limit of 10 electronic items per person. The City no longer is accepting fluorescent bulbs for recycling. 864-467-8300
Sept 27 – Project Rx – A River Remedy. A semi-annual event to offer the Upstate community a free and safe way to properly dispose of prescription and over-the-counter medications. They will be collecting unused and expired medications from 10am until 2pm at three Upstate locations: Greenville Tech – McAlister Square ST. FRANCIS millennium 2 Innovation Drive Greenville County Medical Society – 1395 S. Church St.
