Join us and help beautify our neighborhood by participating in the Great American Clean-Up program on Saturday, May 12 from 9am to 11am.
NMCA received a Palmetto Pride Grant to plant shrubs and trees around the ball field at the west end of the North Main Rotary Park. One requirement of the grant is that we sponsor a litter pick-up event in our neighborhood. We’ll be picking up litter along North Main Street between Stone Avenue and Rutherford Road, the North Main Rotary Park, and elsewhere in the North Main neighborhood based upon your involvement. We need to know how many participants we can count on so we can order our free trash bags, safety vests, gloves and banners. The deadline to register and receive supplies is Monday, April 16.
We’ll make it even easier for you. If you can’t make it that day, but are available any day between April 30 and May 12 to pick up litter on your street or around your own neighborhood, we’ll get your bags, vests and gloves to you. All you need to do is register.
To register or get answers to any questions… email pgilreath@aol.com on or before Monday, April 16.
