Saturday, October 23rd, the Greenville County Solid Waste Division is sponsoring the Better Business Bureau’s Shredding event from 10am-2pm, at the Better Business Bureau’s office, 408 N. Church Street. This event is free to individuals and small businesses. Please limit boxes to 10 per vehicle.
Also during SHRED DAY, the Better Business Bureau will partner with Verizon Wireless to collect no longer used wireless phones, batteries and accessories to provide refurbished phones and cash grants to local shelters and non-profit agencies focusing on the awareness and prevention of domestic violence. In
addition, Goodwill will accept computers, monitors and printers in any condition to be recycled. Hard drives are wiped according to Department of Defense Standards.
