The city is holding a workshop this coming Saturday, Feb 9, from 10:30am – 1pm at the Triune Mercy Center. Sponsored by The League of Women Voters, it is described as: The Greenville Civic Project presents a Community Budget Teach-in, the first in a series of events to increase civic knowledge and action in Greenville County. The event will focus on the Greenville City and Greenville County budgets with the goal of helping people understand how municipal budgets work and how budgets are created and decided on.
